I’m going to have to start saving some dog and cat hair to see how it works for needle felting. It would be nice to be able to use it for something other then decorating my clothes and furniture. Did you guess right?

A: Chiengora is the name given to yarn spun from dog hair. Chien is the French word for dog and gora comes “angora” a breed of rabbit that has soft fur used to make yarn. Spinning dog hair began in Scandanavia during prehistoric times.
