Are Dog Owners Buying Dog Products Online? -Infographic

Where do you do most of your shopping for your pets- online or in the store?  For my dogs and cats I tend do do more spending in the stores. Probably for my rabbit and ferrets too. But for my parrots, it’s mostly online.  There just seems to be more variety online then in stores for my flock.

This infographic breakdown where dog owners tend to buy their supplies.

    We’re very lucky to have a terrific, locally-owned pet supply. The owner is very knowledgeable about food and all the staff make great recommendations. I try to spend as much of my money there as possible.

    @peggyfrezon @petproductrevue Some of us actually don’t. http://t.co/MfmpKzRj

  • I tend to shop for the dogs mostly in the stores.  I think the reasoning behind that is my time is tight, and it is far easier to go into the store and find what I am looking for, do the label research and get all my shopping done at one time.  It might be cheaper and quicker online, but mostly I don’t have the time to poke around.

  • I wish we had a nice locally owned store close by. There is one I don’t really use anymore because the staff isn’t too friendly. Sometimes I think if I won the lottery I’d like to open one…

  • We do a lot of shopping online, but mostly at a local store. We live in a small-ish (when compared to Seattle) town and we have 4 pet stores and I mostly shop at two of them.

    This is a fascinating infographic and I had a blast taking my time going over the stats.
