Adopt A Cat Month Blog Hop
Every year only about 30% of the cats who enter shelters find themselves in a forever home. Now that we’re in kitten season, more cats than ever are flooding shelters. The American Humane Association has designated June Adopt A Cat Month as a way to make people aware of the number of cats needing homes and let them know that adoption is a great way to add a pet to their family.
To help promote Adopt A Cat Month, we decided to join in a blog hop. Be sure to check at the end of the post for links to other blogs joining in the hop and feel free to participate by posting about cat adoption on your blog and adding your link to the hop.

My cats are all second chancers, for who knows why some of them they lost their homes, but luckily I was able to add them to my household. I decided I would show some adoptable cats who looked my crew.
Omar’s twin- Farrah
Farrah is available for adoption from Northeast Animal Rescue in Philadelphia, PA. She was found as a stray mom with a litter of kittens. Lucky Farrah was taken in and is now waiting for her new family in a foster home. Isn’t she pretty with that white marked face?
Pyro’s Twin- Peachey
1
Peachey is a beautiful flame point Siamese mix who is looking for a home who can understand her special health issues. Peachey is hyperthyroid so requires lifelong medication. She also has some litterbox issues. Peachey is living at Tabby’s Place in New Jersey.
Bitsa’s Twin- Leo
I love orange tabbies. I think they are just beautiful and this guy is gorgeous! He likes other cats so anyone looking to add to their fur crew may want to check him out. Leo is available from Dessin Animal Shelter in Honesdale, PA
Charm’s Twin- Simba
Simba is a pretty calico Domesticate Long-hair. She doesn’t get along with other cats so would love a home where somone would love to have just one cat to give all their attention to. Simba is available from the Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Inc., Whitehall, PA
In Memory of Woody
Woody, my Ragdoll, passed away suddenly last month. I wanted to share a Ragdoll in Woody’s Memory.
Woody’s twin- Scampers
Scampers is a shy Seal-point Mitted Ragdoll looking for a home where she can receive a lot of love and attention. Scampers is available from S.A.R.A. Inc., Berkeley Heights, NJ.
